Thanks to the eye-watering pace of change in the industry, there has never been a more exciting time to be a sports bettor. This evolution is largely being driven by the almost constant arrival of new bookies. In turn, this has two major benefits for punters. It both offers them more choice than ever before, and forces the older bookies to constantly push themselves to offer a better all-round experience.

There are so many new sportsbooks being launched that some may find it difficult to distinguish themselves. That is not a problem which Bet4Pride will face. This is a bright and confident bookmaker, with an outgoing social media presence, and which – most importantly – is openly pro-LGBT+ (as the name suggests).

In our comprehensive Bet4Pride review, we’ll investigate exactly what this colourful bookie has to offer. We’ll cover their promotions, betting markets, customer support and more, and – ultimately – evaluate whether they’re worth trying out.

Available to new customers only. Deposit a minimum of £5 into your account and place an accumulator bet of between £5 and £10 on a minimum of 3 markets in the sports betting section (pre-match or in-play/live) which must settle within 14 days of opening your account. Must be the first bet placed on your account. Each bet selection must be at odds of 1.8 or greater. Any bet that uses the Cash Out feature, full or partial, will not count. Your Free Bet Token will be a matched amount of your first bet placed (max. £10) and will be credited to your Account. Non-withdrawable and valid for 14 days. Deposit method restrictions apply. See Promotion Terms and Conditions for details.

A solid range of markets

Great welcome offer

Defined social conscience

Bet4Pride Sports Sign Up Offer

It’s all well and good having a catchy name, and even a defined social mission… but those don’t necessarily get people to sign up and start spending money with you! The best way to actually do that, by far, is to have an enticing welcome offer in place.

The Bet4Pride new customer offer is highly competitive. It’s called ‘100% up to £10’, and is specifically related to multiples betting. In short, you place a bet of £5-£10 on an acca with at least three selections, and receive a 100% match of that stake in the form of a Bet4Pride free bet.

As always, there are a few terms and conditions attached to this offer, which you must be aware of before using it. These are the most important ones:

  • Minimum deposit of £5 into new account
  • Deposits made using Skrill, EcoPayz, Rapid, MuchBetter, Trustly, Ozan and Neteller are ineligible
  • Qualifying bet must be between £5-10, with three selections or more, which settles within 14 days of opening account
  • Qualifying bet must be the first wager on your account
  • Minimum odds of 4/5 (1.80) per selection
  • Maximum return as free bet is £10
  • Free bets are eligible for 14 days after being awarded
  • Free bets also subject to 4/5 (1.80) minimum odds
  • Free bet stake will not be returned as part of winnings

That might seem like quite a few restrictions, but in reality these are pretty easy requirements to satisfy. Naturally it’s tougher to win a multiples bet, so there’s no guarantee of profiting from your qualifying wager. The minimum odds of 4/5 per selection are fair, though, and – given that these apply to the free bet too – there’s a good chance of making money overall here.

At a basic level, getting a 100% match on your first bet is very nice value indeed, and this value isn’t spoiled by the T’s & C’s. The opening Bet4Pride offer is already good enough to warrant signing up simply to take this promotion for a spin.

Bet4Pride Ongoing Promotions

The welcome offer is probably the most noteworthy promotion which any bookie must provide. Even so, it’s extremely important to follow that up with some high quality ongoing promotions, to keep those new customers coming back for the long haul. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there are no ongoing Bet4Pride promotions to discuss.

Given the sheer newness of this bookie, that’s somewhat understandable. Ensuring that the platform is stable, and can support an influx of new customers, is the biggest concern right now after all. Still… it’s also pretty disappointing. Having ongoing promotions should also be a major priority for any new bookie, and there’s no reason why these shouldn’t be in place at launch.

Having said that, we’re willing to give Bet4Pride the benefit of the doubt on this one. The evidence elsewhere suggests they’re a highly competent bookmaker, who’ll fix this problem sooner rather than later. And – based on the quality of the welcome offer – the ongoing promotions should be very interesting indeed when they do arrive.

Security

Bet4Pride actually provide more detail than most of their peers regarding their security measures… which is a lovely bonus for people who review sportsbooks, like us!

They reassure users that data is held in a secure network, behind ‘state-of-the-art firewall software’ (featuring 256-bit encryption), and appropriate measures are taken regarding third-party subsidiaries, agents, suppliers and so on. They also hold an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate on Information Security.

Any lingering questions such as ‘Is Bet4Pride legit?’ can be put to bed by their licensing. Vivaro Ltd – Bet4Pride’s parent company – is fully licensed with the UK Gambling Commission, which ensures it abides by industry best practices for fairness, security, and so on.

Bet4Pride Football Features

As noted, both welcome and ongoing promotions are vital for attracting and retaining new customers in the first place. Another major factor in being successful as a bookie, though, is keeping people coming back and betting with you for the long haul. To do this you must execute the fundamentals well, and there are few bigger fundamentals than football features.

Football is clearly a big priority on Bet4Pride… as it should be – it’s the biggest sport for betting by far, after all! They provide an extremely wide range of markets to bet on, covering both domestic and international football from around the world. These range from the biggest European leagues – the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and so on – to lower-league fair played further afield.

You have the option to place bets on individual matches, or longer-term outright wagers. We’re pleased to say that there are both in-play and Bet4Pride cash out features in place, both of which are cornerstones of modern gambling, and constantly updated statistics to help inform your live betting.

Bet4Pride might be a completely fresh addition to the bookmaking scene, but with regard to its football features it already seems to be fully up to speed.

Other Betting Markets

Football fans are naturally the biggest target group for most new bookies, but you simply can’t afford to alienate fans of other betting markets. Fortunately, Bet4Pride have recognised this.

Aside from football, there is a highly respectable lineup of other sports you can bet on here. In fact, there are over 50 categories of sports and events in all. These range from heavy hitters like golf, cricket, rugby, tennis, and so on, to the most popular North American sports, and to eSports too.

Whatever your particular sports betting tastes, you’ll probably be covered on Bet For Pride.

Bet4Pride Mobile Betting Options & App

Thanks to the non-stop rise of sports betting on mobile devices, dedicated apps are increasingly seen as a ‘must-have’ for sportsbooks. We have noticed, however, that newer bookies often launch without one, and it can take them a while to fulfil this important requirement.

Unfortunately, Bet4Pride currently seem to belong to that category. While we’ve seen mentions of an app elsewhere in our research, there is no mention of either a Bet4Pride Android app or an iOS version on the website itself, nor in any of Bet4Pride’s press releases. An app might be released in the near future, but – right now – there simply isn’t one.

That’s always a disappointing situation, but it’s one which can be rectified by a quality mobile version of the main website. In this case, whilst the Bet4Pride mobile site is hardly the most spectacular we’ve seen, it does get the job done. Navigating between the different major sections is made easy thanks to a handy dropdown menu, and the pages scale well to the smaller screen size of a mobile phone.

We strongly hope that a Bet4Pride app appears sooner rather than later. In the meantime, though, the mobile site serves as a reasonable substitute.

Opening an Account

In general, opening a new account with a bookie is a lot easier nowadays than it used to be. Even by these high standards, though, the Bet4Pride registration process is brilliantly straightforward.

The whole thing is arranged into a single, pop-up box. You begin with the basics – creating a username and password, setting your preferred currency, and so on – before moving on to personal information. This includes your date of birth, address and phone number. Finally you can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits if you so desire, before specifying your notification preferences and submitting your data. In all, the entire process takes no more than a minute to complete.

Banking Options

There are a few potential weak areas in which newer bookies tend to suffer, and banking options are absolutely one of them. In the case of Bet4Pride, though, you’ll actually find an unusually excellent offering.

There’s a great selection of payment methods here, which range from the commonplace like Visa and Mastercard, to the likes of EcoPayz, Skrill, Trustly and Neteller. PayPal and bank transfer are really the only notable absences. The minimum deposit amount is a nice low £5, with deposits usually being processed instantly, whilst a Bet4Pride withdrawal should take 2-3 days to go through.

Support You Can Rely On

Along with payment methods, this is arguably the most common weak spot for newer bookmakers. Once again though, Bet4Pride impress in this respect despite their youth.

The Bet4Pride customer service is advertised as being available 24/7, though it’s unclear which contact options are actually available at all times. Still, live chat is in place – which is always a huge bonus – or you can choose to reach out via the Bet4Pride contact email address, if your enquiry isn’t urgent.

In addition to the direct support options, there’s also a reasonable FAQ section. It’s certainly not the most comprehensive we’ve seen, with only 11 entries currently listed, but the basics of registration, deposits, withdrawals and so on are covered well.

Bet4Pride Company Details

Seeing as they’re so new to the scene, Bet4Pride naturally don’t have much of a track record yet. Still, there’s plenty of information available on their website regarding their goals, with their focus on the LGBT+ community being the clear priority. It’s refreshing to see a bookmaker with such a defined social conscience, and Bet4Pride’s commitment to donate at least 10% of all profits to relevant foundations is particularly impressive.

Elsewhere, while this might be a new brand, Bet4Pride are actually operated by the experienced Vivaro Ltd. Amongst a series of other businesses, Vivaro run the likes of Vbet and BetBull. The software is also provided by industry veterans, in the form of BetConstruct.

Bet4Pride Bottom Line

The simple fact is that you always take something of a risk by going with a new sportsbook, simply because they don’t have the track record of the older bookies out there. In this case, though, everything about Bet4Pride suggests the utmost competence.

The layout is simple and clear. The range of betting markets is inclusive to a wide variety of fans. The welcome offer is highly competitive, and – when they’re in place – we’re confident the ongoing promotions will be too. Common problems with new bookies – such as payment options and security – simply aren’t an issue here.

Is it perfect already? Of course not, and we’ve highlighted the faults in this Bet4Pride review. The absence of a mobile app is especially jarring, particularly alongside the aforementioned missing ongoing offers, and the FAQ section could also do with being greatly expanded.

Overall, though, Bet4Pride have already managed to offer a solid addition to the sports betting scene. If you’re motivated by the connections to the LGBT+ movement, the proposition is even more enticing. Either way, the ‘100% up to £10’ welcome offer is easily good enough to merit signing up for Bet4Pride, sticking down an acca, claiming your free bet, and taking things from there.
