Bet Dukes is an extremely young sportsbook, having only been created in December 2020. Don’t let this mislead you though, because there’s actually plenty of experience behind this new brand. That comes via their operating company – ProgressPlay – who now have over 10 separate sportsbooks to their name.

We’ve reviewed several of those sites in the past, and have generally found them to be solid… if unspectacular. Can Bet Dukes buck this trend, and offer a genuinely exciting betting experience? That’s exactly what you’re about to find out. En route, you’ll learn about Bet Dukes’ promotions, football betting markets, customer service, and much more besides.

Bet Dukes Sign Up Offer

Punters can claim a £10 free bet when they open a new account with Bet Dukes, deposit at least £10, then place a total of £10 in wagers. The free bet will be credited as a pending bonus as soon as you make the qualifying deposit. When the qualifying wager or wagers have settled, Bet Dukes will automatically make the free bet available for use.

Once your free bet becomes active, you can use it on any market as long as the odds are at least 1/2 (1.50). The £10 free bet must be used in one shot, meaning it can’t be broken down into multiple smaller bets. If your free bet loses, then your Bet Dukes new customer offer is simply over. If it wins, you will naturally receive the winnings as normal.

As is usually the case with free bet offers, the £10 stake will unfortunately not be included in your returns here. So, if you use your free bet to wager on Arsenal at even money, and they win, you would still only receive a payout of £10.

So far, that all sounds pretty straightforward. Where things get a little more complicated is with the rollover requirements. Bet Dukes consider winnings from your free bets to be ‘bonus money’. As such, you must wager through the bonus amount 10 times before those funds actually become eligible for withdrawal.

Some of the other key terms and conditions include:

  • Welcome bonus only redeemable with first deposit
  • Must wager through bonus winnings 10 times within seven days
  • Winnings from this offer are capped at £20
  • Deposits made using Skrill are ineligible

The Bet Dukes free bet welcome bonus isn’t really big enough to gain much attention from the biggest bettors around. For the casual punter it holds much more interest, but this appeal is unfortunately damaged by the harsh rollover requirements. This promotion isn’t a disaster, by any means, but it’s certainly not perfect.

Bet Dukes Ongoing Promotions (Updated On: May 2021)

As with the welcome offer, the Bet Dukes promotions aren’t exactly going to blow you away. While the special offers page looks busy, the actual quality isn’t very high.

That said, lovers of the beautiful game can benefit from a decent cashback promotion on UEFA football. To trigger the deal, deposit at least £10 using the bonus code UEFACB, then place a minimum of £50 on UEFA matchups. If you end up with a net loss, Bet Dukes will refund 10% of those losses up to £500. The best part about this offer is that your cashback refund is issued as real cash, with no strings attached. The refund obviously won’t cover your actual losses, but getting something back beats getting nothing at all!

Aside from a couple of ‘leaderboard’ based deals, there’s not much else to write home about here. Although the site does have a VIP program, it unfortunately doesn’t apply to sports betting.

Overall, this is an area which Bet Dukes should definitely strengthen in the near future. The sports betting business is highly competitive, and new sites like Bet Dukes will have a difficult time attracting users if there aren’t any appealing incentives.

Bet Dukes Football Features

Keen football bettors will be very impressed with Bet Dukes. They will find over 100 leagues and events from dozens of countries all over the world available to wager on. And we’re not just talking about well-known leagues like the EPL, Bundesliga, and Serie A. You can bet on the likes of the Azerbaijan Premier League, Zambia Super Division, and everything in between!

Beyond covering so many matches, Bet Dukes serves up a massive number of betting opportunities for each game. A typical English Premier League matchup will present punters with over 350 pre-game betting options. Some of the most popular wager types include:

  • Match Result
  • Over/Under Goals
  • Alternative Goal Totals
  • Both Teams to Score
  • Correct Score
  • 1st Half Result
  • First/Last Team to Score

There are also loads of game and team props, along with a nice selection of player props. For instance, you can bet on a particular player to score a goal during a match. Do you think striker Sergio Aguero will put one on the board for Manchester City? If so, you can try your hand and bet on him to notch a pair, or even three goals, in return for a hefty payout if it comes off.

Speaking of odds, having football betting margins in the region of 5.6% – as Bet Dukes does – is pretty good value. A lower bookmaker commission means more money in your pocket when you win a bet, and losing less money when you swing and miss.

On top of having so many pre-match wagering options, Bet Dukes also provide plenty of in-play wagering options. Whilst you won’t find as many live betting markets as you can before the game, you’ll still have dozens to choose from. Even though Bet Dukes does not feature live streaming, you can also follow the action using the handy visualisation tool to the right of the betting markets, and there are a few live stats available too.

Other Betting Markets

Today’s online bookmakers are expected to cover the full spectrum of sports, and Bet Dukes does exactly that. In addition to mainstream markets such as cricket, rugby, and football, you’ll find odds on a variety of lower-profile sports and events such as table tennis, darts, snooker, and all sorts of athletics. Believe it or not, Bet Dukes was even offering odds on air hockey at the time of writing. Good luck finding that anywhere else.

Importantly, horse racing – the second-most popular online betting market – is available to bet on. Only courses in the USA are in place right now, with no coverage of racing across the UK or Ireland, but this will still give you dozens of betting opportunities each day.

Mobile Betting Options & App

There is no Bet Dukes Android app or iOS app available yet. However, you don’t need a Bet Dukes app to get involved in the action while you’re on the go. The website here is completely mobile-compatible, which means you only need a mobile browser and a reliable internet signal to access everything Bet Dukes has to offer.

The Bet Dukes mobile platform is almost identical to the desktop version. The site’s design is rather generic, but – because it resembles so many others you’ll likely have seen – that actually makes it a cinch to navigate. Switching between different odds types is especially effortless. You can click on the Live Overview header to see all in-play matches neatly categorized, Live Multiview lets you track live odds for specific events, and Live Calendar gives you a look at all the scheduled events for the coming week.

When you select an event, it is automatically placed on your bet slip. The bet slip lets you customize the way odds are displayed (fractional, decimal, etc.) and also features a couple of other handy tools, like a system bet calculator. When you’ve settled on a bet, simply enter the stake amount, see how much you stand to win, and submit the wager.. Live bettors will also appreciate how responsive Bet Dukes is – in-play wagers are processed very quickly, meaning you’ll rarely be frustrated by the odds changing as you wait for your bet to go through.

If you want to take advantage of the Bet Dukes cash out feature, go to your open bets and tap on the ‘Cash Out’ button, located at the bottom of your bet slip. You can cash out the entire amount, or even choose to leave a partial stake in. Either way, you’ll immediately be shown how much you stand to get back via the live cash out tool.

Security

Bet Dukes makes use of the latest internet security technology – including SSL encryption and firewalls – to keep your data safe. The site’s PCI certificate and the Sectigo logo should give you further confidence in Bet Dukes’ ability to keep all transmissions secure. This includes both personal information, and any payment details you divulge when conducting financial transactions. For added protection, a dedicated security team monitors all transactions to ensure they are legit.

You can also rest assured that your money is safe at Bet Dukes. Under the terms of its licenses from the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, all player funds must be kept separate from operational funds. This helps ensure that your money is always available for withdrawal in its entirety.

Opening an Account

It only takes about a minute to open a Bet Dukes account, and the process is extremely straightforward. To get started, go to Bet Dukes using your desktop or mobile browser, and click on the green ‘Join Now’ button in the top-right corner.

The first part of the registration form will ask you to enter your email address and mobile number. You’ll also need to choose a strong password. The next steps ask you to provide your basic details, including your name, gender, address, date of birth, and occupation. You can also select your preferred betting currency, being offered the choice of USD and EUR in addition to GBP. Importantly, you can also enter a promo code at this point if you plan on claiming a Bet Dukes offer.

Once you submit the registration form, Bet Dukes will send you an SMS with a four-digit code. Enter the code and submit the completed form to activate your account.

Banking Options

You can make a deposit on Bet Dukes by logging in to your account, clicking on the ‘Cashier’ button at the top of the page, and selecting the ‘Deposit’ option. You can then choose your preferred methods, with your options including Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Paysafecard, MuchBetter, ecoPayz, Neteller, and Skrill. While there’s no way to make a bank transfer directly, you can simply use Trustly to make one instead.

Making a Bet Dukes withdrawal is just as straightforward, with you simply picking the ‘Withdrawal’ option in the ‘Cashier’ tab. All of the same methods are available, aside from Paysafecard. Cashing out isn’t particularly quick here however, with all withdrawals subject to a three day ‘pending’ period. Processing times can take anywhere from 1-7 business days thereafter, depending on your chosen method. Annoyingly, all withdrawals are also subject to a £2.50 transaction fee.

Customer Support

You can get in touch with a Bet Dukes customer service representative 24/7 using the live chat function. For less pressing matters, you can fill out a Bet Dukes contact form instead.

As for indirect support, you’re free to consult the FAQ section which is in place, which is easily accessible via a link at the bottom of the main page. The articles within are generally helpful, and cover a wide variety of topics, including verification, banking, technical, and other general queries.

Bet Dukes Company Details

Given that it only launched in 2020, it’s not surprising that there isn’t a lot of information available about Bet Dukes. We do know, however, that Bet Dukes is owned and operated by ProgressPlay, which is based in Malta. With over a dozen betting sites in place now, ProgressPlay is an increasingly big name in online gambling.

Importantly, Bet Dukes also holds licenses with regulatory bodies in both the United Kingdom and Malta. If you’ve been asking yourself ‘Is Bet Dukes legit?’, this should definitely put your mind at rest.

Bet Dukes Bottom Line

As noted in our introduction, while Bet Dukes might technically be a new brand, in reality the people running it – ProgressPlay – have plenty of industry experience. In fairness, this shows itself in a few crucial ways with their latest sportsbook.

For starters, the range of both pre-match and live betting markets is absolutely outstanding. That’s true not just for football, but for all kinds of other sports too. Both the placement and cashing out of live wagers works well functionally too, and – in general – this is a user-friendly platform. There’s also a good selection of payment methods, and the customer support is impressive.

There are areas in which Bet Dukes must improve, however. The ongoing promotions simply aren’t good enough to appeal to the general betting public, and the lack of a mobile app – in a modern-day sportsbook – is pretty surprising. There are other, more minor annoyances too, like the small transaction fee for withdrawals.

Overall, Bet Dukes is a solid all-round sportsbook. While lacking the top-end features of a premium site, there’s still enough here to enjoy a fun betting experience. If you’d like to try it out for yourself, we’d recommend triggering the welcome offer to quickly pick up a £10 free bet.

New players only. Minimum £10 qualifying bets. No cash-outs allowed. Free bet is a one-time stake of £10, minimum odds of 1.5, stake is not returned, maximum conversion £20. 10x wagering the winnings, valid for 7 days from issue. Excluded Skrill deposits. Full T&Cs apply
